Xbox 360 Receives MLG App

In a recent announcement, Major League Gaming (MLG) is going to bring their popular online streaming content to Xbox 360.

The free service will allow users to watch streams as they would on the official MLG website.

The question I, along with many others, is why the service isn’t being brought to next gen?  The popularity of Twitch on Xbox One and Playstation 4 has brought the streaming service to extremely high levels.  They are even expanding into mobile gaming

Don’t get me wrong. This is not to say that the Xbox 360 is an outdated system and applications and games shouldn’t be made for it. Not at all. The MLG streaming service would thrive just as Twitch did on Xbox One and Playstation 4.

What do you think? Should MLG stream on current-gen alongside Twitch? Or is it a good thing that people are still playing and using their last-gen consoles, so the app should remain on 360? Let us know in the comments below!
